i like you as a fighter carl, you're an entertainer, but you don't half talk some ****e. you are lucky that joe retired and didn't show you up as the b-level fighter that you are. if calzaghe had soundly beaten you then you would never have had that world title shot, and you definately wouldn't have got into the super six. you've earned a lot of money thanks to joe "ducking you" lol...
as for your comments about the 5'9 floyd mayweather? LMAO, that is hilarious carl. pick on someone your own size for ****'s sake! he's a midget compared to you. in terms of boxing ability, puh-leeeease, are you on drugs? if mayweather was 6'0 he would absolutely school you (aside from your obvious punches chance that a strong guy like you brings to the ring). could you beat mayweather at super-middleweight? maybe, but only because you're so much bigger. BUT my gut still tells me that mayweather would be able to outbox you to a decision. do you really think that your crazy, wild hooks will go unpunished against floyd?
oh, and yeah, he wouldn't fight you, and here's why.
1) you fight at two weight divisions higher than he has ever fought before. you're a strong guy so he'd be crazy to step up that high in weight.
2) like it or not, you're a guy who is nowhere near being ranked in the p4p top ten, who has just lost to a guy who is nowhere near the p4p top ten. do you think anyone in america would even want to see him fight you?
3) floyd has never even fought for the MIDDLEWEIGHT title, or even had a fight in the division, so why would he jump straight to super-middleweight? wouldn't it make more sense for floyd to fight the lineal middleweight champion sergio martinez instead? that guy is p4p top ten unlike you carl...
anyway, i very much respect you, you're a warrior and i wish more boxers came to fight like you. that kessler fight was awesome. HOWEVER, you are making yourself look like a moron continually posting silly little digs at calzaghe all the time. now you want to start on mayweather? get real mate...Comment

Froch is so slick he doesn't need the shoulder roll. Froch is so slick that it's more likely an opponent will beat him by not throwing any punches at all. Once they throw it's all over.
Carl uses his whole body as Mayweather uses his shoulder roll. Instead of turning his shoulder into a punch, Froch will turn his face into the punch or instead of using an elbow to block a left hook to the body Froch will lift his up so it lands right on his ribs and then just smile....This is just to show that he could have done anything he wanted, but chose to get hit on the liver and his smile is worse than any counter right hand that Mayweather could throw. That smile devastates an opponent.
Just as him getting knocked down against Taylor was simply used to get Taylor into the frame of mind that the Cobra wanted him to be in, which was to think he could hurt him, but in reality the Cobra could have made him miss all those shots and knocked him out with a lightning strike in the first round.
He chose to let Taylor think he had a chance of winning right up to the last ten seconds before knocking him out....That's the true skill of the Cobra and most can't comprehend just how good he is, as he's so good that he will allow his opponent to think they have a chance of winning right up to the last second. He allows them to think this, before knocking them out, to fully destroy their soul, fighting spirit and break them down mentally as they finally understand in those last moments before lapsing into unconsciousness that he was simply playing with them all along and they never did actually have a chance of winning.
It was only due to his grace that he allowed them to win rounds. He gave them those rounds and then he took them back and knocked them out, while behind in the scoring, just to break their spirit. That's the skill of Carl 'The Cobra' Froch!Comment

dcull111, you're okay talking like that on the net, but if you came down to the Cobra's gym you'd be knocked spark out... I'd smoke your boots.i like you as a fighter carl, you're an entertainer, but you don't half talk some ****e. you are lucky that joe retired and didn't show you up as the b-level fighter that you are. if calzaghe had soundly beaten you then you would never have had that world title shot, and you definately wouldn't have got into the super six. you've earned a lot of money thanks to joe "ducking you" lol...

Though I doubt you'd ever dare get into a ring with me... you remind me of Joe Calzaghe that way.Comment
