Mayweather just dominated the number 2 and number 3 p4p fighters

    with ease.

After a 21 month layoff he gets in the ring for a tune-up bout with number 2 p4p ranked Marquez and shut Marquez down and held him to the fewest punches he's ever thrown and broke compubox records in the process. The fight was designed to shake off ring rust and served it's purpose.

Fast forward to May 1st and Mayweather puts on a brilliant performance against the number 3 ranked p4p fighter on earth and the biggest threat to Mayweather outside of Manny Pacquiao. He frustrated Mosley to the point where Mosley looked defeated before it was over. Mosley had no answers.

Make whatever excuses you would like, but the number 2 and 3 p4p best fighters on planet earth were picked apart and dominated by the most accurate puncher in compubox history. Not only did he put on a clinic but he sold millions of PPV's in the process, which is great for boxing.

Hopefully, Pacquiao can muster up the fortitude to submit to OST for the integrity of the sport and give boxing fans the biggest fight since Duran vs Leonard.

It's more like Mayweather had a dead man infront of him for 9rds and he couldn't even take him out.

don't waste your time bruh. Like mayweather said, these are guys that THEY picked (not him) as the no. 2 and no. 3 pd 4 pd fighters. Don't get mad at mayweather, he's not the one that made the pound 4 pound list, he just beat those guys.

both were like 40 yrs. old.

1 was a featherweight fighting at lightweight.

shane is shot. he got tired from shaking his fists for crying out loud.

saul alvarez would have taken him out last night.

Marquez doesn't count. The Mosley win was smashing though.

Nice sugar coat, using Marquez as a great win due to his p4p ranking is ridiculous, its like Lennox Lewis coming out of retirement and fighting Chad Dawson at HW and trying to legitimize it by saying "yeah but he was p4p 8#".

Mosley a good win, I am not going to take nothing more away from Mayweather then should be taken, but its being blown way out of proportion.
Mosley is almost 39 and coming off a 18 mont layoff. I mean you squeeze in the fact Mayweather was coming off a 21 month layoff and takes on a lightweight, but we are supposed to take that as a legitimate fight.
