Possible fights for Mayweather at 147 or above

Floyd said he might fight next year now...he said its likely he wont fight this year. So here are some possible fights next year:

Berto at 147 (Berto should beat some more fighters like Clottey, Margarito, Judah, etc. to build his resume, be undefeated and still have the WBC Belt)

He has already showed he has beaten some decent welterweights (Quintana and Collazo) but other than that he has beat Forbes and Urango who had to move up to fight him.

Cotto at 154 if he beats Yuri Foreman in dominating fashion (Would also like Cotto to face the winner of Williams-Cintron at 154)..Cotto is still a big draw, with couple of good wins he is back in the race.

Martinez at 160 if he beats Pavlik again (Pavlik got a rematch clause) this will be the toughest fight Floyd can take because of the massive size advantage for Martinez, Floyd started at 130 lbs and isn't really a big welterweight at 147 yet going to 160 to beat Martinez is a tough task. Martinez has a 76 inch reach along with being a slick southpaw.

I don't know about the Cotto fight now - it's a bit too late. With knockout losses to Antonio Margarito and Manny Pac, and a very close fight with Clottey, I don't think Mayweather would get much credit for that fight. Although, if nothing else comes up, it wouldn't be a bad fight to take while waiting for someone to become available.
