Clottey was bigger. Just not at his full strength. That's not an excuse because Pacquiao would still beat him if he was. I'm just saying he didn't taste their real power.

anyway, am giving u props for saying that there is POSSIBILITY that pbf can stop him unlike those very sure answer that pbf will ko him (especially those self proclaimed boxing fan).
Thing is with Floyd, he has the ability to stop guys, but never steps it up. Like the JMM fight, I'm certain that if he had fought like he did against Mosley, he could've got him out of there, but he refused to. Against Pac, I think he has the ability to take him out, but it's if he goes after him when he rocks Pac (All of this being an 'if', but you get the point).

As for being more powerful than Marquez, I'd stick to it. I mean, Marquez is knocking guys out at lower weights, but remember when Floyd was back at those weights? The guy was an animal. At 147, Floyd is a bigger puncher than Marquez, easily IMO.

Being mentally handcuffed and taking an accumalation of accurate shots will be the reason. Roy Jones at his Prime was the best at it and so is Floyd.

are u claiming that real power of clottey is equal to pbf's real power?

i get ur point about the ifs. and this is my prediction, floyd is known for being a defensive tactician. he will potshot pac, will never engage and will rely more on his superior footwork, shoulder roll, etc. so, there will be a bigger possibility of no KO at all.

Its possible either one gets the KO. I personally think Pac would lose in a onsided fight if he doesn't ko Floyd. I can't see pac out boxing him, but I could see him catching floyd clean in the middle of the ring. I've noticed everytime floyd gets hurt its in the middle of the ring and in the first 4 rounds. I think following Floyd to the ropes is a bad idea for pac. Floyd was setting traps on the ropes for mosley all night, but he didn't bite tho. If pacs gonna beat him I think its in the middle of the ring, and early in the fight. Anything else, Floyd exposes him.
