floyd sat on his ass for more than a year, all the while manny was kicking ass.

coming back and beating marquez and mosley isn't enough to overt take manny.

he doesn't have to beat manny, but manny has to lose first.

floyd moved past hopkins on the p4p list before hopkins lost to taylor. even though right now the two top p4p guys are in the same weightclass, thats rarely the case. so u cant say a fighter has to beat the #1 guy or cross his fingers he loses, he can just go out there and do his best to prove he is better, then its up to fans and experts to compare their work and decide who should rank higher.

i think floyd is a clear #1 but there are arguments for pac too and i wont call nobody crazy for ranking him higher. the whole manny has to lose before someone takes his spot is bull**** though, it doesnt work like that at all. never has. it just sounds like a lame excuse from a ******* who does think floyd should rank higher but refuses to admit it to himself.

if floyd does something amazing, like unifying the jr. middleweight or something, of course im floyd is gonna be ranked higher.

but i don't see that happening. do you?

fact is, manny has to at least lose or give a poor performance before floyd can take him.

i don't see how floyd can be number 1 again with those two fights... considering the streak manny was on.

i really don't know how people can twist the facts and make it seem like floyd's last to fights is more impressive than manny' streak...

p4p is subjective and all, but come on. rating pac over floyd right now is pretty delusional if you ask me.

i said i can see why someone would rank pac higher, but he doesnt have to lose to lose his throne. thats all im saying.

i think floyd passed him, pac looked great but who did he really fight? DLH was drained, he wouldve lost to any top10 WW that night. hatton was past his best and he wasnt that good to begin with, tailor made for pac aswell. cotto was shot and tailor made. clottey is average and tailor made..

meanwhile floyd took the toughest fight out there and dominated, mosley might be 38 but tell me he wouldnt beat the version of DLH, cotto and hatton that pac defeated. i see pure talent in floyds success, in pacs success is see alot of talent but also a fair share of marketing and promotion.
