I dont think its about gassing out, Just that he would be taking punches and he wouldnt be able to do anything apart from weave side to side and up and down like he did against JMM (2) trying to figure out a way to get in.

Cotto and Floyd's jab are not in the same league. Cotto's jab is good and powerful, but not nearly as fast or accurate. Floyd isn't going to walk into hooks over and over again.

I would say pacquiao has the advantage in the earlier rounds. 1-4. floyd will adjust to him early tho so if pacman doesnt get to it right away then floyd will take full control

cotto also doesn't stand as upright as floyd.

floyd fights tall. look at how he looked taller than mosley last night even though mosley is taller.

when floyd throws a jab at pacquiao , it'll be going downwards towards pacquiao.

when pacquiao throws that counter hook at the same time instead of connecting , their arms will just get tangled up or he hits floyd's upper arm or shoulder.

pacquiao is better off trying to get low and throw an overhand left (not a straight left)
