Sorry to up your excitement, I am wrong. I thought Floyd was O.K. with the 24 day thing, but he stuck on the 14 day thing, and now he is saying even that is out the window now.

Why does he care is my question, do the 14 day test (i'm sure for such a huge payday Pac will come down a mere 10 days from his 24 days position). AND they should also agree to a post fight test as well, that way if there was any cheating it will be exposed and the cheat will be disgraced if it were to be so.

It just sounds like games on both parties, but Floyd said 14 days, now he says even that isn't good enough now that he has some fresh green in his pockets. If it was fine before and a deal maker, then why is it now not acceptable, I mean at least stick with what you stated previously, otherwise it sounds like he doesn't want top fight.

I know Floyd is a GREAT fighter, but ONLY Pac is still in his prime and he is the ONLY fighter that will solidify Floyd's place as an all time great without question if he were to beat Pac. Him seemingly refusing to do so makes him look like he is only interested in picking safe opponents to me.

yeah i hope he keeps the 14 day window as an option for pac. that would put every bit of the pressure on pac to make the decision IMO. After seeing mayweather and mosley go through it completely if he still cant do it with a 14 day window, then the fight not happening is completely his fault i think. where did mayweather say the 14 day window is out of the question though?

I believe it is in one of the articles on this sites front news page, he wants random drug testing and no time limits whatsoever now.

I agree 100%, if Pac can't recharge his blood system sufficiently within a 2 week period, he is just full of crap, that is plenty of time to regain anything he may lose due to a blood test,it's not like they are taking a massive amount of blood out of him on fight day or something! I am so sick of both of their antics, just get it done already and give the fans the best possible fight out there right now already, stop being a couple of bitches!

It's the article where Pac accepts the 24 day window, at the end of said article Floyd now states that isn't good enough, neither is the 14 day window, he wants testing right up until fight time.

That screams of a guy that wants to avoid a fight, he keeps changing his own damned mind, and i'm sick of it from BOTH of them now. More so from Floyd, he keeps running his gums, then retracting from previous statements, sounds like a little girl these days for Christ's sakes!

ill agree that if floyd doesn't eventually agree to 14 day cutoff again he is in the wrong. but i still think pac should take the tests up to a day before the fight honestly. really, there is no possible way that the amount of blood is drawn could affect him for more than a day.

I'd say maybw not the day befor or on fight day, but a few days before for a blood test should give enough recovery time. I've given blood and seen people pass out while and afterwards, and they aren't trying to make weight for a fight either, so a few days is a good idea IMO. I think 5-7 days is plenty enough recovery time for such a simple test, both fighters need to man up and stop with all the excuses!
