If Floyd couldn't stop an old faded boxer, he's NOT p4p #1

Although the American sportswriters at The Ring may make Floyd p4p #1 tomorrow, it is clearly a mistake.

Shane was tired by the 4th round and couldn't get good punches off after that. He was already a beaten man, like Manny Steward said in his commentary.

If it would have been Pacquiao, Williams, Martinez or perhaps even Alvarez or Berto in there with Shane, they would have finished the fatigued, helpless old fighter off.

    But Floyd couldn't do it.

Manny Pacquiao is, without a doubt, STILL the #1 p4p boxer.

Doesn't Golden Boy own the Ring magazine?

If the list does indeed change tomorrow, then that avatar Pic speaks volumes.

If Manny Pacquiao can't stop a human punching bag then he shouldn't be p4p #1.

P4P is imaginary. PBF is the #1 WW now. That matters more than some mythical list.

            Nobody can stop Shane Mosley.

Floyd's not known for power anyway, he's all about skill.

              Very true.

And even if he's dominated by future opponents like Williams or Pacquiao, Floyd won't lose on the scorecards now that he's in bed with De La Hoya.

                  I concur.

Floyd fought a guy Manny was running scared from. Someone who was even willing to come down to 140 pounds to face him, but that was rejected. Floyd fights this man and dominates him. How the hell can Pac be Number One now?
