Roy Jones Jr. Live Interview, Listen Friday 8:30 AM EST--Taking Questions!

You can listen live via streaming audio from the Sports 56 WHBQ website. Roy will be plugging his DVD but we will also talk to him of course about his possible comeback and Johnson-Tarver II which is here in Memphis, where the interview is taking place (he will be here live in studio). I produce the show and I will take any questions you guys may have, and if they are good I will pass them on to the hosts to ask Roy.

Also, a couple of hours after the interview, we have our weekly boxing show, Inside the Ropes, that airs from 11 am-12 pm EST every Friday morning. It's sponsored by Prize Fight Promotions, who of course are promoting the Johnson-Tarver II fight. Brian Young, who runs Prize Fight with his brother, Russ, is a co-host on the show. I think there will have to be some creative wording for a question like that...

Who knows, he may give us the Heisman on any questions about ducking opponents, but we'll damn sure try to ask. If the hosts go into softball mode, I'll be very upset.

By no means am I saying that that's harsh, because it is the truth. But I don't think that question should be asked to Roy out of respect for his accomplishments as a businessman

I wouldn't have that question asked though martin mate, I think the question about who'd stand a chance of beating him is good enough (and the Benn/Eubank question) and it would be interesting to hear what he says to that..
