4-1 dont mean ****. The guys who know boxing dont set the odds. They set the odds based on what they think people will bet. When there is a big fight then you get alot of mainstream betters which means alot of people who dont really know boxing and all they know right now is Floyd & Pac. I bet if Floyd fought Williams, the odds would be similar because the mainstream only know Floyd & Pac and whoever fights them will have very bad odds right now.

It has nothing to do with how close the people in Vegas who set the lines really think the fight is. Its only by what they think people will bet and Pac & Floyd are going to get those odds against pretty much anyone right now because the mainstream dont know ****

C'mon, man. Y'all hootin' and hollerin' as if the unthinkable happened, there's a reason for those odds being so wide.

I personally don't give any props to someone who is that big of a favorite. How can you, if you're a huge favorite, it means they expect you to put on a dominating performance.

Pac was a 5 to 1 favourite against Cotto.....so why make a big deal out of that. He was an 8 to 1 favourite against Clottey....why make a big deal out of that.....guess u shot yourself in the foot there....

You were really impressed by that ?

There's really only two reasons why you were impressed with that performance, it's either A) You don't think Phony Boy is actually that good or B) You overrated Shane coming into this fight.

          Are you A or B ?

bert sugar was on the radio friday, telling everybody he was leaning towards mosley, take those odds.

steward said it was an even fight.

those guys have been around the sport a while, i'm sure they'll give floyd more credit than you do.

anyway, like larry said, it's HOW floyd won. don't think too many ppl thought it was gonna end up 11-1 on the scorecards.

Then how much did you make off of betting on Floyd since you knew.

Only a betting man would realize its based on public perception, cant tell ts nothing, oddmakers arnt making odds on who they think will win and by how much, if anything they are trying to figure out what we are thinking.

Hey *d*ot, when did I make a big deal out of those two victories, the only thing I didn't expect from PAC was putting Cotto down so early in the fight.

I'm not a betting guy. But, it's quite clear I know more about boxing than you. I ain't the one jumpin' up and down about a 4-1 favorite winning in the manner he did.

If you knew Floyd would dominate then you would have bet the house on Floyd, only a fool would run from free money.
