It's hard for Floyd to get a lot credit for what he does, because we already know he's that good. He showed what he was made of in the second round and even Burner is admitting he was hurt. The fact that Mosley gassed and had his mouth wide open in the middle rounds is why it's hard to give full credit to Floyd for the fight. But what Floyd was doing when physicality and intelligence comes into play has a lot to do with Mosley running out of gas along with the fact Mosley is already old.

If Mosley wanted this fight so bad back in the day where he would've stood a better chance, he shouldn't have been such a yes man for Oscar De La Hoya.

      NSB for you.
Any shot fighter can land a big shot and hurt the better fighter, that doesn't mean they aren't shot.

If the fight was competitive for all 12 rounds, you'd have an argument for Shane not being shot.

But momentarily stunning Floyd and winning one round doesn't mean ****.

          Stop trolling dude.

Everybody is impressed by PBF's perf except very few *******s.

He took a dangerous fight, and thats what the critics, like me,asked,an other fight like that and I could become a fan like I was 6 years ago.

Floyd needs to continue what he has to do,dominate other elite fighters and shut his mouth like he did last night.

          No,to your ****** question,another ****** one.

Who thought Shane was in his prime from the 3rd to the 12th round??

AWESOME PERFORMANCE,but Mosley has been exposed 6 times before and is 39,to Floyd's credit he did better than the others.

Is Emmanuel Steward posting here too? He said it in the FIRST round that there was something wrong with Shane.

Let's all face the facts. Shane was not the Shane we know. What do you expect from a boxer that was 1.5 YEARS away from the ring and a few months away from his 39th birthday. Plus he faced a primed Floyd.

Did you all see Shane? He was gassed out all night long. At one point he was frantically telling his corner that he wanted a cool wet towel! For a guy that did not do much and to be gassed like that, it was scary stuff if you ask me.

If Mosley was the Mosley we know, that 2nd round could have been even worse for Floyd.

Why did people think Mosley gassed after 5 rounds? If Mayweather wasnt hitting him and making him miss then why did he gas? Credit where credit is due and leave it at that.

Brian kinney was on espn telling Mayweather "When has he ever seen Mosley with stamina problems" and that was a day to the fight.

It reminds me of the Roy Jones vs Joe Calzaghe matchup. Shane is done. His stamina was terrible in that fight. after 3 rounds. Its like he just gave up. His jab had no pop after he was using it in the first 2 rounds to set up his straight right up top. He stop setting it up and he was pushing all his punches from round 3 on. Its like he was pushing floyd with his punches just to touch him. Either way, I really think this fight was set up so we can have the real fight everyone wants to see. Pac vs Floyd. I was also surprise when Shane was like now you guys get to see Pac vs Floyd fight like it was his job to lose or something. That don't sound right to me. Well hopefully we actually get Pac vs Floyd later in the year if not all boxing fans are fudged.

And, I am not sure if he is shot at this point.

I would like to see how he does against Berto or even a Cotto rematch if Cotto beats Foreman.
                  I completely agree Jro.

You cant deny that Mosley was gasping for air after 4th round. That wasnt even a contest at all.

Is Mosley old? Yes. Is Mosley past his prime? Yes. Is Mosley shot? No, far from it, he is still a top welterweight. You are damn right I was yelling at the tv, I thought Shane was going to KO Floyd, but Floyd did what he had to do to survive the round. If he hadnt grabbed Shane's arm he would have gone down, he was hurt. Floyd beats his opponents with his mind as much as he beats them physically, he almost never gets out of his gameplan. He got out of it in the first two rounds last night, and he paid for it. After that he fought his fight, albeit more aggressively than normal, and won easily. I think he earned a lot of respect from non fans such as myself last night. I do feel that Paq would have a better chance against Floyd than did Shane.
