Fighters need to follow Mayweathers lead on sanctioning fees

This has been done before by people like Bowe and Barrera.

There is no place for any of the organizations in boxing. They need to be boycotted and exiled.

If no organized model is established for the sport where they all follow uniform rules and rankings, the next best thing is for fighters to disavow the alphabet organizations and fight for the title of "Peoples Champion".

    Much like the Rock.

jack, you are 1000000% correct. This is a better stand than the one he's taking on PED's IMO.

      It works on multiple levels.

Not only does it root out the parasites, but the fighters get to keep their hard earned bucks.

      Its a can't lose scenario.

Not only that, but the title of Peoples Champion carries the kind of populist cache that money can't buy.

Everyone loves a man of the people.

That was a smart move for him to take. Most fighters won't since belts bring more money. But guys who are already established as elite don't need belts to prove it. They should **** on the organizations.

I agree, but, Phony Boy is a superstar of the sport that have won multiple titles, he can tell the ABC orgs to f**k off.

He or PAC really don't need the f**kin' belts, say what you want, but having a world title belt to your name still means something, unless you are one of the superstars of the sport.

But yeah, some type of movement needs to build some momentum against these ABC orgs.

Its because he's already had a belt there, if this was new territory he would have paid the fee. His stance on random blood testing is something that should have been long ago.

He can do this and I like his initiative but really all those guys who haven't reached elite level will pay sanctionig fees still because belts bring some attention.

Their focus should be on getting attention through their work in the ring.

                  Nobody cares about paper titles.

Real fans see through that mirage.

Exhibit A: who the **** is Jan Zaveck??
