S.G... you're a solid guy but how can you explain leaving JMM out of this list?
Did you have one too many pints or what?Comment

I think he's beginning to tail his career off to be honest. I treat my P4P rankings very much as a "what have you done for me lately" type thing, and the Juan Diaz fight was over a year ago now. I'm not knocking the rematch as it should be a fun, satisfying fight - but it doesn't hold much importance in the grand scheme while you have fresh faced up-n-comers like Ward and Dirrell fighting and beating top quality opponents and penned in to fight yet more top quality opponents in the very near future. It's also likely that gaining and losing weight like he has will be to his detriment. As much as I hate to say it I just feel the ten guys I named are the better pound-for-pound boxers right now, but that's just how it goes; the old make way for the new.
Edit: I realise this sounds kind of hypocritical considering I haven't relegated Mosley as drastically, but I guess I'm just waiting to see where he goes from here before being rash.
Edit 2: I also forgot about Bradley again for some reason - I'd have him 9th, Ward 10th and Dirrell off the list for now.Last edited by S.G.; 05-02-2010, 04:58 PM.Comment
