Why do you think Shane himself said this. If you know anything about Shane you know EXACTLY why.

williams throws a lot of punches, but he's not a "powerful" puncher. has no movement, and will be right there for shane to hit. shane also has faster hands.

williams can be hurt, and IMO, if shane hits dude like he hit mayweather, williams goes down.

maybe it's just me, and i used to like PW, but dude isn't as good as some of you make him out to be.....and his style is PERFECT for mosley.....and williams CAN be hit and hurt.

      shane beats him, IMO.
Shane would not be able to handle a 6'2 or 6'3 southpaw with the workrate Paul Williams has. Paul Williams can handle what Mosley is throwing.

Does he fight like Margarito? Yes. What happened with that fight??

Pwill is made to order for Mosley, and I hope they fight so Shane can prove me right.

Pwill is one of my favorite fighters, but im just telling it like I see it.
He is taller and way longer than Margarito. He made Margarito look small. Look at the reach advantage...

He is also coming from a difference stance. P-Will is southpaw Margarito is not. You should take that into account as well.

        P-Will is faster than margarito.

And, he has a better workrate than Margarito. Hell he outworked Margarito.

And, Paul Williams is learning on the go. He is getting better experience for every tough fight that he has had...

Shane Mosley fights nothing and I mean nothing like Quintana though.

I think you guys are making a mistake comparing Williams to margarito. They're not alike

and looking to much into the Quintana or even the Martinez fight. Shane fights nothing like them and Shane is not a southpaw

at the same time, you can't compare PW to cotto, wright, forrest, or mayweather....

williams is tall, i'll give you that...huge reach, i'll give you that too. but PW is widely criticized for not using those advantages, and he gets hit entirely too much.

mosley has lost to "boxers," he doesn't lose to volume-punching sluggers. williams has already shown, the right punch, he doesn't see coming at him, can hurt him. shane still has extremely fast hands.
seriously, what good fighters have williams beat? his biggest win is a razor-thin decision against a margarito shane dispatched in 9 rounds.

i just don't see all the "hype" for this guy....he's a tall, volume-punching, slugger, and he's been exposed as such, twice.

seriously, at 147, shane doesn't beat williams? i think so.

                No lets try this again:

Shanes quote said nothing about draw or risk. He said our styles dont match up well.

                Styles.

                Styles.

                Styles.

He said nothing about risk or reward.

Martinez? 1 round KO of Quintana?

                  Was that a serious question?
