I always said this about Floyd, his chin, his toughness, his heart is severely underrated. It is not his style to go all out, he is more defensive minded and won't take unnecessary risks. That is just his mentality but just cuz that is they way he style is does not mean he doesn't have a good chin or is not as tough as nails. Dude intangibles is intact...

that was one of the questions I had about Floyd...he answered it with flying colors....his heart was ANOTHER one....he answered that as well....nuff respect to Floyd....this is HIS era and I don't see nobody his size ****in' with him.....I'm convinced that this dude is THE dude ...that sounded funny but you know what I mean.

cotto has an even better chin, shane couldnt hurt cotto like he did floyd.

This is something I was gonna refer to, yes floyd has shown he has a good chin, but don't get carried away he is still vulnerable. I have seen shane land similar punches on many fighters up at welterweight and light middle and they have NOT reacted like that. I was more impressed with his powers of recovery then his chin.

That first right hand shane landed on floyd was a very normal shane power shot, an overhand right and floyd had to hang on and clinch. The second one landed a little high (temple shot) and after that floyd was one solid punch away from a knock down. Those punches were nothing that shane didnt land on cotto, mayorga, margarito, de la hoya, and many others. He landed solid rights on cotto and he didn't wobble like that, and cotto wasn't known as the most sturdy fighter. The way floyd reacted to those punches is what makes him special he recovered his defences really well and his head cleared pretty quickly. But if you wanna talk about floyd's chin, everytime he has been hit flush against a guy who can dig a little his legs he has been wobbled its a credit to how great a fighter he is that that has only happened in 3 fights against judah, corley, and mosely

He didnt let him recover .... You re cover with will and skill... Plus Shane respected the counters, even when he had Floyd hurt.....

What fight were you all watching? Mayweather was dam near gone..Had he not been holding on for dear life its possible he couldve been KO'd right there...Mayweathers brilliance is that hes hard to land cleanly on him but if you do he might be gone as last night showed.

Floyd has a good chin but not a great chin. Shane saw floyd get wobbled why would he lose his will after seeing he wobbled floyd?
