Reason I ask is because Floyd seemed to get his respect rather quick. At some points in the fight Shane looked a bit surprised. Mayweather sat down on his punches a bit more than usual so there may have been justification to be surprised.
Does anyone think Shane underestimated Floyd's power going in?

It is very possible. Mosley was talking a whole lot about his power before the fight, how stronger than May he was, but he never talked about Floyd's power, only his speed. I think Mosley was rocked a couple times too in the fight. Floyd buckled his knees at least once, and Mosley was initiating 90% of the holding. -
Oh yeah Mosley definetly underestimated Floyds power. He also underestimated Floyds speed too because he believed he was just as fast if not faster then Floyd. Floyd showed him how fast he was right away when he countered over Mosleys jab with a right hand. That made Mosley gun shy in the fight because he seen how fast Mayweathers hands were. Plus he was snapping back Mosleys head with JABS.Comment

he underestimated floyd as a whole. his power, speed, timing, strength, will, heart, intelligence and ability to adaptComment

shane always gets his head snapped back by jabs.. he fights pretty square and upright so it looks much worse than it is.Oh yeah Mosley definetly underestimated Floyds power. All of Floyd's opponents underestimated Floyd.
They are left clueless and have no answer for Floyd's skills when Floyd opens up and makes them feel the leather.
I bet Shane's training camp was entirely based on that one Hail Mary shot that would put Floyd on his butt for all times' sake.
I would be very surprised if Manny Pacquiao decides to lace them up for Floyd after that performance.
I highly doubt he will jump at the chance now.Comment
