          Excuses? Would you move up to fight a fighter that was more well known considered better all around that could launch you into stardom and give you a 7 figure income? That is not a excuse that is a legitimate reason to move up, he fought what was at that time considered the better fighter and certainly the more rewarding fighter. Be honest with yourself who was considered the harder challenge at that point. He didn't duck out he took a what was considered a harder fight.

            I was shocked at how much Floyd discouraged Shane from throwing. No one likes to get hit and Mayweather clearly gained Shanes respect with his punches.
