Did Shane Mosley have a game plan???

I saw nothing remote to a game plan last night. He didn't try to take anything away from Floyd at all. He didn't throw enough, he fell right into the pace of fight that suits Mayweather. He was really unsure of himself in there. He did nothing different in any round.

im pretty sure it was to land something big in the beggining, im bettin that was a key in the strategy...land somothing and try to get him outta their before he has a chance to adapt. the first rounds are where may is the most vulnarable. mosley landed but couldnt follow through and gassed out after his 2nd round flurry....age was to blame.

Yes, Mosley didn’t have a game plan. One of his biggest fight of his career; he just walked into the ring without a plan. He thought it would have been smooth sailing

I think Mosley planned to mix up his attack with either boxing off the backfoot or putting the pressure on.

Mosley waited far too long before he decided to put on pressure because by that point, Floyd was winning easily.

Floyd accuracy made Mosley cautious to throw imo also.

I honestly thought he was gonna stay on the inside and try to push Mayweather around. At that point he could have made it a rough fight. But he just stood at a close distance the whole night. And even began backing up for portions of the fight. He didn't sell out to win this fight. I think he was afraid to get knocked out.

Seemed like he had a plan until he landed the 2 big hits in round 2.

Then he threw it all out the window and didn't listen to his trainer, and started headhunting for the rest of the fight.

Floyd's defense was too tight though, and he became trigger shy, just waiting for the absolute perfect shot.

Yeah that's the thing Mayweather's counter punching abilities make you very cautious. But I think we all knew he would not beat Floyd in a thinking man's game. So I think at that point if your intent is to really win, then he should have went all out even at the risk of getting knocked out. I think he would have been better off really giving it his all instead of hesitating.

it looked like the plan was to just box floyd.

his gameplan involved a large sum of money placed on mayweather winning so he was shocked when he almost dropped him in the second and that is why he backed off from going for the kill.
