Well Kelly is a big guy who has always cut a lot to make 160, doesn't suprise me he is up in the 190's.

He needs to move to 168 though, definitely. Although Kelly himself even said it is always a challenge to make 160, I think he has finally out grown the division, and at 6''2 he has the height to move up.

If he is in the 190's he should see if he can fight Glen Johnson or some other LHW.....is he actually the same size as Dawson who's highest FN weight is 191?

He could still beat AA Froch & Kessler, as long as he fights guys that are brawlers like him and the fight comes down to who can dish out and take more he will be fine, but if he gets a boxer he will be picked apart time and time again. If he up to 190 he gotta be drinking and boozing it up again, if he wants to fight he has to clean up and train hard or go do some UFC type **** something that doesn't require great skills and conditioning.

forget about martinez. kelly cant catch that man. he should go after pwill, a fight i think kelly can actually win. at least that way, he can revive what's left of his career.

He should go up to 168 and fight Bute. I'm sure Bute is struggling to find credible opponents with the Super 6 tournament going on, and a win over Bute would completely resurrect Pavlik's career.

People don't know that professional boxers shedding 20-40 pounds is the norm.

Most boxers are close to being binge eaters (IMO of course). Ask around...

Putting on 32 pounds in 2-3 weeks is pretty quick though. It means Pavlik hasn't worked out since the Martinez fight and he either has been binge eating or he's eating normally and his body is getting back to normal weight (if it's the latter, Pavlik walks around at 200-210).
