    Where's Shanes Killer instinct?

You know.. shane use to rock guys and absolutely GO NUTS. He'd UNLOAD. He completely let floyd off the hook last night. predicted Shane to get Chico'd or Gatti'd, and although he got JMM'd instead, it still made me wonder where all of shanes tenacity disapeared to.

Also, shane "didn't" look in good shape. The man was soft in the ring, his stomach was pudgy during the ring walk. Floyd physically looked to be bigger/stronger than shane and thats bizarre right there. Shane gassing like that with only 400 punches thrown is another mystery.

But that's for a different discussion. I just wanna know why shane left that killer instinct at home. he didn't attempt to tee of at all in the second round, was just fortunate enough to land the the cross and the hook.

I honestly think he was scared to death, lol. 18 years in the sport, finally gets what he wants, and his nerves kick in. In any event, you cats should stop hating on clottey now.

He'd have beaten the shane that fought last night IMO, so would berto.

floyd to away the combo that hurt him and shane couldnt muster up anything different.. Shane was trying so hard to get punches to land cleanly that he wasted time not throwing anything.

Shane still beats berto and clottey.. Especially clottey, clottey would get tko'd

      He couldn't do it.

      Floyd held on. Tightly.

Floyd was simply too good. I think Shane was just completely confused in there.

It's hard to keep going for the kill when you get hit by every single punch your opponent is throwing at you. Mosley was so baffled by the speed and the fact that Floyd could hit him flush whenever he wanted to.

Does anyone not understand Mosley is almost 40 years old? You REALLY expect him to do the stuff he did when he was in his prime or YOUNGER? Cmon, act like you got common sense.

              Non-existent.
His "power boxing" sucks when fighting boxers.

Nah, he just doesn't handle well with elite boxers.
The guy doesn't have the smarts as well to adjust.

You see, this is it though. This is ALWAYS been in. People trying their hardest to land something clean, and figure floyd out. That's the beauty of the shoulder roll. When your opponent stands sideways infront of you like that you pretty much only have 1 hand to to work with, your left hand.

Your right hand risks hitting floyd inthe back (and getting penalized) and you can only bring it over his shoulder, upstairs, to make contact with it.

This is why fighers get baffled in the ring against floyd. I spar against it in the gym all the time and do it as well to piss people off, they literally get lost. Stubborn guys who don't give a damn, will hit you anywhere, as long as they make contact (margi, for example) and southpaws best combat that roll.

Pacman is a pretty accurate puncher as well. he's always on the money with his shots. For that reason a lone i feel as though he'd be flustered in there too. But roach is smart and pacman always listens to him, i'm sure roach would let him know, don't worry about landing clean, just swing (Calzaghe/Bhop, anyone?) but it's easiar said than done.
