Because SSM and PBF both tried for the KO. Manny was content to beat on Clottey's elbows all night. Clottey was just happy not to get KO'd and collect his check.

Because Clottey was just an Arum pawn there for a paycheck.

Also Clottey is not on the level of Shane Mosley. It's more entertaining to see a great fighter and hall of famer getting dominated, then a guy who wasn't even there to win.

Clottey couldn’t beat Margarito. And had troubles with Baldomir

This is because Mosley is an elite fighter who brought out the best in Floyd because Floyd respected him. Clottey was just happy to get a payday, He's a B minus fighter at best. I mean he lost to all of the top guys he fought (Baldomir, Margarito, Pacquiao, Cotto) and only barely beat Judah

You dumbass potato picker. Floyd clinched Shane right after the 2nd power punch to the temple. That's the best way to recover yourself. Also, right after the 2nd round he dominated Shane in the next 10 rounds. He remained calm and kept his composure after he got rocked.

Sounds more to me that you're the one who doesn't have a ****ing clue.

Because Shane tried for 2 rounds and had no defense.

Clottey is a defensive first fighter who retreats in his shell when he's in trouble. He offered Manny no visible target where he could hit him flush and thus make for an exciting fight with the possibility of a KO.

While Floyd was hitting Shane at will with precise clean shots which looked more impressive than Manny beating a human punchbag who offered no resistance other than covering up.
