When someone doesn't believe it themselves, and are demoralized, the fight is basically over right there.

I think Shane knew he was beat, but was half-heartedly waiting/hoping for some miracle big shot, something like that. After all, Mosley would never quit on the stool.

I woke up today before running and thought about people like George Lopez, Dougie Fischer, etc., all predicting how sure they were Shane would be the first to beat Floyd. I'm wondering what they can say now to diminish Floyd's win, as we know they well! There isn't any way to beat Floyd.
agree wih this post. I think landing them shots in the 2nd round were abit of a mistake. Once he knew he couldn't put him away his heart and mind wwent in the fight.

At the end of the day, he asked for the fight, begged for it even.
I have to agree, and this is the first time i've seen someone say it. You can have compassion for the losing man in a boxing match, but how can you feel sorry for this guy? These guys claim to be gladiators, they are professional fighters. Pity because he didn't win? He always knew that was an option. We can feel a little compassion because he didn't pull off the upset, but don't feel sorry for Shane. He knew what he was getting into, and, as FeFist says, he was practically begging for it. This is what happens when you go into a fight- especially against someone who is known to be one of the best (if not the best) at it !

if you want to watch a beating go re-watch Cotto/Pac
DLH Pacquiao is actually more fun to watch since DLH gives a No Mas

I knew he was heading towards an ass whooping just by looking at his face expression in the weigh-in.

Yes, it was bad to see. Floyd really was cracking Mosley, and it could have been worse if Floyd wasn't safety first.
