The Post Fight Interview Killed It For Pacquiao

I don't think a lot of casual boxing fans knew the whole story about the blood testing thing and were assuming Floyd just didn't want to fight Pacquiao. After watching the fight last night and seeing that Floyd is not afraid to go toe to toe, and hearing the post fight comments about the testing, I think it's going to get a lot of casual fans scratching their heads and demanding that Pac takes the test, or nothing less. A bunch of my friends who are casual fans kind of knew about the testing situation, but were still siding with Manny, but as soon as the broadcast was over they were all like "Wooah, Wait a minute, this doesn't make sense" and all of a sudden had a way different opinion on Manny Pacquiao. I think a lot of casuals are going to be thinking the same way after hearing it talked about from the HBO crew. I think in some way it almost legitimizes the issue now for casual fans.

I just hope they come to a compromise and make the fight. People just don't get it. EVERYONE,I am not exaggerating,EVERYONE knows about this fight and wants to see it. I mentioned May-Mosley all day and learned two things.

1.Everyone was saying "Oh yeah Mayweatehr is facing somebody today"
2.EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM (women, men, kids, an elderly woman who was probably in her 60s) mentoned Mayweather-Pacquiao

      Yup.

I don't care what compromise they come up with, this fight needs to happen and would be the biggest fight in years. It would bring soooooo much attention back to the sport.

Yup. And I bet they have a different opinion now to about the drug testing thing after seeing the fight and many more people are going to side with testing and demand this fight.

I think the pressure is now on pacquiao because his refusal to take the drug test looks mighty su****ious he cant continue to fight other opponents and have impressive wins when the guy who is the next logical fight for him simply wants a drug test that looks so suspect and im glad they highlighted that on hbo last night because everyone is going to wonder now....plus pacs last fight against clottey was no challenge and was not as popular as this one.

Yea floyd gave a good interview..he usually is all defensive but had no reason to be after the fight...He spoke good and hit a home run with that interview..Floyd is always on the defensive in intervews..he felt he shut some folks up and was brutally honest..how many times do guys lie and say "nah I wasn't hurt!" he was very refreshing last night

In as much as I want to watch the fight,Pacquiao has to take the random tests all the way to the fight and not this 24days bull****.I dont buy any of his lies,he has told too many stories

I think he would have won a lot of fans from the 24/7 series and the way he fought today, i know i hate him a little less now

I might not like his flashiness, but boxer Floyd Mayweather jr has SKILLS !! He has fought 2 great boxers back to back and to blew them away and gave a boxing exhibition. Now it's time for the NO EXCUSES match between Floyd and Pacquiao. Take 1 million drug tests but please do not make excuses. This fight has to occur. The fans want it !
