It's come to the point where people should start respecting what we're seeing, because it's gonna be a long long time before we see something like Floyd again. Not just his boxing skills, but his committment, his heart, passion and dedication for the sport. Has there EVER been a more dedicated fighter? Seriously? He eats, sleeps, trains boxing. He just loves the ****in sport.

We've all been quick to jump on his back because of his mouth runnin', but the guy walks the walk as well as talk the talk. As Oscar said last night, Floyd knows how to get into the opponents head. Opponents who are usually calm as a whistle. He makes them angry, works them up, so when they get in the ring, they just wanna blow his head off and make mistakes. EVERY fighter who gets in the ring with Floyd gets caught up in the occassion. They get nervous, they worry and panic, become 'jittery' as Sr said. They're so nervous fighting Floyd because they know how good he is, as the commentator said last night, the're scared to throw a punch because they know they probably gonna get hit back, they facing one of the best counter pounchers ever.

Floyds intelligent, smart and powerful. Every fighter understimates Floyd, thinking they can rough him up and over power him. These mo'****ers don't realise Floyds tough at that game too, he'll stand toe to toe and fight you, but his corner won't let him, they'll always say 'outBOX him'.

We've had a go at him for ducking and diving, but honestly if he fought Cotto a few years back would Cotto beat him? The same Cotto who has literally no defense, leaves his chin out to dry, arms low. Would Margarito have won? He may be a big hitter but he rushes in and can be opened up easily. No they wouldn't. Fact is everyone wants Floyd to lose so badly just to shut him up, but you gotta realise they can't.

I'm sorry, I'm a big Manny fan as well as Floyd fan, but Floyd would totally outbox him just like he done with all the other fighters. I can predict the fight:

First few rounds- Manny lands a few big shots, everyone gets excited. Floyd ain't adjusted yet.
Middle rounds- Floyd takes over. Adjusts to Manny, counters him.
Final rounds- wears Manny down. Wins.

Look at my thread past, I've killed Floyd, I used to hate him. But he's now a special special fighter.

It came to the point where I was so worked up about Floyd winning that I wanted Hatton, Oscar, any mo'****er to whip him, but now I come to realise that Floyd is up there with the best. Respect the guy, cause I promise you when he finally retires for good it'll be you lot who will complain that boxing is dead and boring.

He's 33 now, he's gonna start to slide sometime soon and we will also see that happen because Floyd loves the sport too much to notice himself. So the haters will be happy too in the end. However, Pacquiao isn't the one to do it because Floyd is just 2 years apart and takes much less damage in all of his fights. He was hurt the most vs Mosley because Mosley was the p4p#3 and WW champion. Also because Floyd tried to slug it out with Mosley to give us the fans a display of his chin. It's a good solid chin there, no china.

The fact that Mayweather does not have any viable options out there right now is more of a reflection of how much Boxing has regressed in recent years, there are hardly any elite fighters left in Boxing today.

People are gonna miss the boat on greatness...People think if your for mayweather u have to be against Pac..Just be a boxing fan..How can you pick on smaller guys win you walk around at 155 and are all of 5"8...Just like floyd finds ways to win..folks will find ways to hate..just love boxing, u don't have to like floyd just respect his game, his abilities are bar none the best in the game..Just cause you don't want to call him pound 4 pound best doesn't mean it's true.

I never doubted the man's skill....there's a thread floatin' in the archives around here askin' dudes who are the best fighters they've EVER witnessed.....my reply was Roy and Floyd.....so why did I bet against Floyd?!?....because Shane is my ****in' dude!!....conventional wisdom gets thrown outta the window when it comes to B.Hop and Mose....I transform from a boxing fan to a cheerleader....yup, pomm pomms in the air ....seriously, Floyd is a COMPLETE fighter....hands down the BEST in the game.....I doubt if Manny can solve the Mayweather puzzle but I would pay to see him try!!....I normally don't get into that p4p rankings mess....but Floyd made a strong argument for the top spot last night.....I tip the fitted to Floyd and hope he and Manny can make it happen!!...it feels good being a BOXING FAN again!! ....pomm pomms back in the basement to collect dust!!
