I have no doubt Pacquiao beats Floyd now.

First off, give Floyd his full credit. Shane fought like crap and Floyd did what he is supposed to do to fighters who try and fight his game. So don't take any credit from Floyd.

But I was looking for three things last night:

    1. Floyd throwing in combinations. Shane was dead on his feet from like the 4th or 5th round on and Floyd rarely threw more than one or two punches at a time.

    2. Floyd's power. He couldn't even faze Shane for the most part. I expected that going in, but considering how tired Shane looked Floyd should have at least got him trouble once.

    3. Floyd handling a fight. We didn't get an answer to this question. We did see that Floyd Mayweather has a motherf***ing iron chin beyond question, but Shane never tried to fight, he tried to beat Floyd fighting at his own style.

Just based on what I've seen against JMM and Mosley, Floyd would not be able to keep Pacquiao off. All that speed, movement, and punching would really mess with Floyd and I just think Pacquiao definitely beats him. Maybe stops him late.

Well to me Floyd gave Mosley a chance in the fight by fighting so aggressively, usually its Mayweather's discipline & unwillingness to engage why he is so effective.

Mayweather is extremely hard to beat when he is on the backfoot counter punching in his element, however he does get hit when he fights on the front foot and leaves spots for you to counter him from time to time, so for him to fight the way he did it does no surprise me that he caught a good couple of shots, however thats because he is fighting more aggressively than anything, problem with that is he wont fight like that against Pac, he will allow Manny to lead to him and counter punch him as he moves in, no one of today is going to beat Mayweather when he is backing up, not unless they have a considerable reach advantage where by they can hit him from a distance he cant hit them.

I think Pac would beat Floyd too. But I don't think it would be a one sided beating. This would be a tough fight for both but I'm confident that Pac would come out on top. This fight needs to happen within the year.

I reached the opposite conclusion. Floyd has a granite chin and stopping PBF is Manny's only chance. SSM is lightning and yet was made to look pedestrian last night. Floyd is unbelievably fast fisted, so hard to hit.

Floyd would beat PED's easily. [I am a huge Many fan too, the PED line was just jokes].

Pacquiao would unsettle Floyd with his speed and output IMO, i cant wait to see it though. I do think Pacquiao has what it takes to get the win though.. If Mosley can hurt him then im almost certain if Pacquiao lands then Mayweather could be in big trouble if he was to be unsettled since he pulls the trigger as soon as he senses blood.
