Okay, okay, before y'all laugh at this mythical matchup.... Hear me out.
Jose and Saul are like 2 years apart in age. Jose is barely gettin his feet wet in the pro game, while Saul has steadily been climbing up the ladder. Then again, Benavidez spars with PAC, Bradley, Khan, etc.. Hmm, I think Benavidez's sparring experience is far better than Saul's actual fights.
You know, this may not even come down to who has more experience as a pro fighter, but simply a matter of style. Jose has a terrific jab, it's fast and a neck snapper, and he will definitely have a significant reach advantage, and it also appears that he would have the edge in speed.
Power, I'd say Saul has the edge. Stamina, edge to Saul. Jose is still doin' the 4 round circuit. I'll go out on a limb here and pick Jose to win.
