I bet Mayweather by Exact UD, when he started talking about pulling him out I was getting pissed off.

Mayweather knew that and he fed of it on the run up to this fight,
I think it did effect Shane to a certain extent, In round 2 I think when he hide Floyd he thought it was over,
Then when Floyd survived and came out in Round three and totally punished Shane it threw Shane off, Floyd was talking **** to him aswell,
He was getting into his head.
Shane would of been great if he had ****m in his corner his whole career,
****m aint just a great trainer but he is a great person and seems to understand Shane,
You will notice even in the Margarito fight when Shane was clearly ahead,
****m kept reassuring him that he was doing good,
"Your combinations Shane, Nobody in this divison has them like yours,
Keep running the combinations knock the grease of this dude,
        Then swim withouth getting wet,"

Then tonight when Shane was clearly behind,
He was telling shane to move his head and work,
Was obviously by the look in Mosleys eyes he was in a bad way physically and mentally.
He made Shane even repeat what he said.....

        ****m Richardson ATG Trainer/Person
Richardson is dedicated to what he does and everything but how is he an ATG trainer? He found the loaded handwraps and exposed that whole situation but what has he accomplished as a trainer?

honestly he is just a colorful personality and that is why he gets all this attention, he's good for TV. the guy knows the language and motions of the sport, exudes that tough sophistication you expect from a crafty old boxing guy and basically is a real-life version of a guy who plays a boxing trainer in a movie. some would look at that and say, yeah he's hardcore, old school, his life is 100% boxing but take away all the TV cameras, all the entertainment value and he isn't impressive.

if he said "lay into your punches and exit at the safest angle without getting out of position" instead of "swim without getting wet" would he get so much attention? I remember reading some article where they referred to him as a "sage".

he may be an HBO ATG or something but not a boxing ATG. he's got a bunch of well rehearsed lines and phrases and he's confident and well-spoken without being rude. like he said on 24/7 "the whole world is watching" so I think he consciously plays the role of an entertainer. lots of style, little substance.

Naazim knew exactly what he was talking about, he clearly had a plan going in that Shane could not execute for whatever reason. Naazim was the man last night.

no he could and did execute it in the first 2 rounds,he did it too well and even wobbled the hell outa floyd, his own success with landing and doing damage made him go ****** and go or that 1 punch.

if shane hadnt had hurt floyd or carried on doing the game plan that clearly worked then he could have walked out winning by UD or even KO.

i still wouldtn mind shane to have 1 last crack at this match if pac v floyd dont happen.

but ide say mayweather vs pac happens, berto vs mosley happens and shane gets 2 titles to retire on, no idea who wins between pac and floyd,so exciting to just think of what could happen.

i agree with Bill Olden to an extent i think ****m like bhop has the look that you expect from someone in boxing and becasue of that he gets more attention and acclaim that he might noramlly do. both ****m and b-hop use the language that you would expect from someone in boxing as well.

imo ssm had all the tools to beat floyd but he just doesn't have the mindset, imo ssm is great in a shootout where his power and speed will get him the KO but show him a slic boxer ala forrest or pbf and he doesn't know what to do. he loads up on every shot, throws powerful punches in singles and expects for his naive 'power boxing' to get the job done.

power boxing is fine aginst people like margarito but you need to have aother dimension to your fight game. you need to learn how to use your speed and box, how to to be patient and then when the opponent opens up in the later rounds you can lay into him with your power shots then. i honeslty think that ssm is one of the most igfted athletes iv ever seen but imo that poor training style that his father raised him with meant that he only developed one side to his fight game

i suppose thats the difference between floyd and other fighters in that floyd has so many different dimensions.
