to answer your question lateral movement, if u dont allow him to set his feet u dont allow him to get of in combinations.

pac gets of in bunches cuz he keeps fighting guys who stand right in front of him, marquez was the last guy who didnt do that. thats why pac didnt look great not bcuz he improved a great deal. next time he fights someone who doesnt stand right there like a punching bag same thing is likely to happen.

dont forget floyd has a good height and reach advantage which he will use. pop the jab and keep pac at bay, sidestep him and hit him from angles. set traps and counter. floyd would give him a boxing lesson.

Floyd approaches different fighters in different manners.He fought Mosely toe-to toe...tell me one person who suspected this...with Marquez and Hatton he used more movement...

Floyd can neutralize Manny's punch output with distance and movement and keep him at bay with a jab or a lead right.
If Shane couldn't put Floyd down fighting toe to toe,I fail to see how Manny will put down Floyd at a distance and at a lowered workrate....
