    Floyd: Marquez and Mosley

    Pacquiao: Cotto and Clottey
    its level since they both had dominating fights against tough guys who were former champs and recognised names

      Cotto = Mosley
      Clottey > Marquez

      People kept referring on how past it Cotto was.. But what that makes Mosley?? He was not only past his prime to shot, but was also coming off from a 1 year of inactivity from the sport. Both fighters were different from the time they fought each other (Mosley vs Cotto) to the time when they met Pac / Mayweather.

            both fighters that pacquiao fought were still young, both fighters that mayweather fought were elite fighters that were getting old(past their prime) but still great fighters. you can't really compare these two so i gave it a draw.

              mayweather easily.

              cotto was shot, he clearly never recovered from the margarito loss. clottey is an average fighter, wouldnt stand a chance against any of the best WWs. so pac is 0/2.

              marquez was to small to be a legitimate oponent, just a blown up LW. mosley on the other hand was a very legitimate oponent, i dont even have to say why. floyd is 1/2, he wins.

                    It's this type of **** right here people should stop responding to. It goes to show you don't know **** about boxing but Freddy Roach knows enough to train Pac to beat Cotto while turning Pac into the (fraud ass'd) legend he is but still "OPENLY" ducked Mosley twice ...and WAIT !!!... before you say it ...Pac's not about the money and anybody who's been here since December 09 knows this .....How we know this you ask ? Because you all come with the same ****** ass arguments repeatedly, get schooled, wait 30 minutes and then come back and make the same damn points that just got shot down.

                    Anywayz I'm done with it

                      Why are people acting like Cotto was shot? Pac's win over a young, complete, and competitive was bigger than anything Floyd has done. Beating a 38 year old Mosley is no big accomplishment. Honestly, who in the right mind really gave him a chance? Because Naazim was in his corner? I think people looked at the fact that Naazim took Hopkins to beat Pavlik and Mosley to beat an emotional wreck in Margarito and all of a sudden he's the one to take Floyd? As if that's enough to diminish the years Shane has had in the fight game to change his style. Everybody called how Shane was going to lose, clear as day, and he was going to get outboxed. It's clear Shane has no head movement, nor does he position his hands well enough to block shots. He was obviously going to get pot shotted the entire night. I mean seriously, he does NOT have young reflexes anymore, he does not have those legs, and he did not even have the stamina. If Floyds win over Mosley beats out what Pac has done, then how come it wasn't more competitive? It's one thing to beat an A level fighter, but it's another to beat a former A level fighter. Clottey was a great win, regardless of how it went down, whether it was exciting or not. Roach completely exposed Clottey's style in the perfect manner for Manny. Clottey, a guy that has given every single great WW he has fought with a name trouble, then Manny goes out there and pitches a complete shut-out? That's ****ing impressive. And also going out to face a fighter, Cotto, who Floyd was clearly ducking, taking his best shots, eating it, spitting it back into his face, knocking him down twice in tremendous fashion and hurting him on many occasions, and TKO'ing him in the 12th. Not only is that ****ing impressive, IT'S NOT EVEN MANNY'S WEIGHT CLASS! I mean, I respect Floyds skills greatly, but every fighter he faces is either at a complete disadvantage through weight class, skill level, or physical age. When's the last time Floyd's fought a PRIME (or close to) A-listed fighter? I mean honestly. It's almost sad that we are giving Mayweather props for fighting a 38 year-old has been who was scheduled to face an up-and-comer. Mosley has been out of the picture for years until Margarito, now all of a sudden his the biggest threat to ever appear on Floyd's resume? That's sad honestly. At this rate, Floyd will never become within my top 25 of all time. If he actually cared about fighting great fighters, we probably could have seen the best of him. Floyd's got the skills to become the greatest of all time, but he hasn't got the heart, determination, nor the will.
