What I'm saying is, it's easy to see what someone 'should' do from outside the ring, whole different matter when you're in there. It's not like Mosley was consciously letting Floyd off the hook, he was trying to finish him off. If anything, I seem to recall him going back to his corner looking irritated with himself for letting Floyd out of the round.

I'll rewatch the 2nd with the rest when I get a good download and report back.

I was surprised that he got caught with the right hand again to be honest, He was caught with the same shot in the JMM fight but because JMM is a lightweight and doesnt have the power of a full WW Mayweather able to ride it and get away with it. But yesterday i thought he was getting KO after the second right hand land, Mayweather was on steady legs and i thought he was gone. What suprised me was the 3rd round i expect Mosley to Jump on him and try to get him out but it was Mayweather who came out more aggresive.

I was just in shock but Floyd showed that he has the heart of a champion

I only watched from round 4. If Mayweather was genuinely hurt then I have my doubts whether he can take Pac's straight left hand. The older Mayweathers always had china jaws and while Floyd's isn't china - if it's anything less than sturdy against Pac it'll get found out.... if he gets hit that is.

I cant stand Mayweather, but the tactical adjustment he made after the second shot was not only sublime, but also extremely courageous. The worst thing he could have done was to get on his bike, the fight would probably have been over if he had,but he closed the distance even more and stayed tight not giving Shane the leverage to get off properly. that took some guts.

Yer, similar to the Judah fight. Excellent stuff.

If you watch when Floyd gets caught, Mosley goes for it for a couple of seconds but then goes shoulder to shoulder with Floyd, he doesn't really throw anything after that just leans on him, i mean Mosley should have stepped back and looked to unload more shots but instead he chose to go on the inside without having any effect what so ever those crucial seconds made a big difference.. At that point to Floyd was still hurt and biding time to clear his head. Mosley really didn't pounce on him much atall, he went for it then started wrestling with him instead! I think Pacquiao would have been all over it since he steps back and doesn't like to get in close, i know Pacquiao would have kept the distance and not allowed Floyd to bide time like that. Not that it could have changed the fight but he certainly could have done far more damage had he offloaded from distance.

Yes, I agree with the above post. Pac doesn't fight on the inside. When his opponent is even slightly hurt he stays at the perfect distance and lets those short little arms fly.
