  • I thought he was done...and yes, i nearly **** my pants...

No matter what Floyd says I've never seen him get hit like THAT in a fight...and certainly not TWICE in the same round....thought he was going the first time...REALLY thought he was going the second time...

but ill tell you what...for someone who doesn't spend much time getting hit or facing adversity like that he reacted perfectly...shows some instincts...he didn't throw blindly or expose himself...he moved, and clinched long enough to regain his composure...i was impressed...

When Shane put Floyd on "Ellerbe Street" in round 2 I had a surreal moment of panic and honestly just felt the fight was over. The ref looked ready to stop it at any moment and I was just ****ting my pants and saying "****...it's over...May just got exposed...there goes his career"

That **** was crazy and uncomfortable even though part of me did want Shane to win because I like them both but I just never expected Floyd to be doing the chicken dance like that but I couldn't believe when he over came adversity. Honestly I was still worried about round 3 cus I thought he might still be on unsteady legs and honestly Roger Mayweather looked scared as **** in that corner between rounds. I never seen Roger Mayweather look so uncomfortable, panicked and unconfident in my life. He looked like he was saying "Oh ****, dat mutha***a bout to *** my nephew up..."

But Floyd showed some of the greatest heart I ever saw. And the rest is history. But **** me if I didn't lay a brick in my pants in those brief moments in round 2..............
lmao..Roger looked cool as hell to me, Ellerbe was the one who was looking panicked..I think Roger knew he was okay..

I knew he was cool once I seen his face..he took a shot similar from Chop Chop that phased him...once I seen he was still "there" I was cool...

exactly..I knew he was cool once I seen his head was still in the fight...

      • Its boxing. It happens. Even to a boxer like Floyd. He is not god. He can be hit and hit hard.

        • I was pretty nervous..especially when Floyd's legs wobbled...but he was smart he tied Shane up...

I could feel my body temperature heating up

The same happened to me when Pavlik knocked out Jermain

          • My heart started to beat faster. I didnt want Mayweather to lose by knock out and I knew Mosley had the power in him to deliver the knockout. Comming into the fight I didnt care much if Floyd or Mosley got KO'd but as soon as that bacame close to a reality for Floyd my bias came out.... Its was more then Mayweathers career on the line.... It was the potential fight with Pacman that was hanging on by a thread..... Also it would have meant that Shane and Floyd would be looked in for a possible trillogy through the ealry part of 2011... Shane gets my respect

              • Also Roger always looks calm and cool. I have never seen him look nervous in all these years of fights with Floyd. Thats a good characteristic in a trainer because the last thing a fighter needs is to see his own trainer shaking in his boots.... On the other hand Leonard Ellerbe looked like he was in a daise.

                  • Floyds balance is ridiculous lol, most other fighters, would have gone down on those shots just from the sheer force of them even fi there chin took them.

                    • I'm not going to lie, the only way to describe it is the feeling I had on 9/11.

There's a point where your mind just shuts down and says " That plane doesn't belong there" is this real?

My mind was like " That's odd, Floyd is hurt, is this happening?"

Its dumb to realate 9/11 to boxing but thats how I felt. Haha
