    Will Roy Jones fight again?

Someone told me he was on the Best Damn Sports Show and said he would be fighting the winner of Tarver/Johnson. Is there any truth to this or is this just **** talking?

I watched that and he said he would POTENTIALLY fight the winner. It was a big maybe and he didnt say much more. He also said that he would have to really consider coming back. But all of that aside, hes an ego maniac and wont go out on a loss. He'll be back, maybe if not Johnson Tarver 2.. Clinton Woods for a quick belt

I say its about a 50/50 shot he takes on the Tarver/Johnson winner, probably a better chance if Tarver beats Johnson. But come Saturday night I fully expect him to be bull****tin it up about a comeback.

i really hope he doesn't come back. he doesn't have it anymore and he's got wife and kids to think about. he should just stay in the sidelines and help coach young hopefuls like andre ward.

I would have to pick the winner of the Johnson Tarver fight as the clear favorite in a rematch with Jones.

When a fighter relies entirely on quickness and reflexes to win fights, he is not going to be effective doing the same thing in his 30s that he did in his 20s.

I have said this before, Jones as a 200 lb heavyweight is much quicker than the average heavyweight. If, after the Ruiz fight, he took on a heavyweight bomber, he could have won a decision relatively easily. Against VK, VK would have jabbed all night, and Jones may have been able to slip the jab and then counter-"get the hell out of there" enought to win a lame decision.

Fighting a prime and hungry Tarver and Johnson retrospectively was not the best idea. Perhaps he could have taken a cruiserweight title while waiting for another heavyweight.

I would love to see him fight again. I think he is still competetive, he just needs to come up with a different game plan and a good execution of this.

              just my 2 cents

I think he will fight one easy opponent and then fight the winner of Johnson vs. Tarver.

Everyone knows im a huge Roy fan...If he does come back he better have some goddamn tune up fights first. He needs to be in the ring at least twice to see if he can still move enough and if he still has the stamina to compete against top Light Heavies.

I really don't know what he can bring to the ring anymore. In his fight with Glen Johnson, it's alot of things I didn't see. I'd like nothing more for him to come and beat Tarver (by KO preferably) but I don't know if it's possible.
