Let's get that fight done with Floyd if he beats Cintron this Saturday. At least he actually wants the fight unlike Pacquiao. I know he has a leaky defense. But he has way better stamina than Mosley does and throws a lot more punches and actually has a jab even though it's not the best one either. I got Floyd beating him in a UD. But anything can happen. And his fight with Cintron being on the Mosley-Mayweather replay helps his case just like Burner said.

The problem with this match is it stops two fights everyone wants to see: Williams-Martinez and Pacquiao-Mayweather. Yeah, but if Sergio wants to fight Margarito first and the fight with Manny doesn't go through, I like this fight.

I always thought Floyd was a bad matchup for Williams since Willaims problems lay in the technical side and if anyone can exploit those flaws it is Mayweather. Plus he really doesn't fight tall, he does at times but he likes to mix it up inside.

P Will is a big boy though so I can understand why people would think he is the guy to beat Floyd. If Williams channels some vintage Tommy Hearns he could do some work though.

It is an interesting fight a huge contrast of styles, Floyd is going to get paid against whoever he fights and beating a guy with the dimensions of Williams (not to mention his credentials) would make him look badass.

If Floyd is not fighting Manny next, Williams is the name that makes the most sence along with Martinez but still I think Floyd would fight Williams before Martinez.

This is the exact reason that Paul Williams shot himself in the foot by letting his pride get to him because of those cancellations with Pavlik. He should've had that fight scheduled for eternity. Because now his name wasn't even in the conversation for potential opponents for Floyd. It's Sergio Martinez's name getting mentioned because he has something that helps Floyd's legacy. And that's the Middleweight title. I think Williams stands a better chance of beating Floyd because Martinez gets tired somewhere during every fight.

I would like to see this fight, except for the fact that I don't think its safe for Williams to keep going up and down in weight. He shouldn't go for 147 anymore, and at 154, I think Williams is just too big.

I agree with the latter part. Williams at 154 is a big risk for Floyd and I wouldn't hold it against him or call it ducking if he doesn't want to take it. He is a small welterweight himself, after all. At 147, it could be interesting.

William would win at 154. He would have 0 respect for floy, and would just throw and through with his yard stick arms.
