You know, to be honest with you that fight rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I know Martinez is damn good, but if you thought that Mosley-Mayweather was a chess match at points in the fight, wait until you see what Martinez-Floyd will look like. The action in it will be similar to Roy Jones-Bernard Hopkins. And plus the fact still remains that Paul Williams beat Martinez regardless of what people say on here. He tired down the stretch and admitted on his last interview on Fight News that he didn't have any problem with Williams getting the decision. Who is the tougher fight for Floyd I don't know. But Floyd still gets credit from me for mentioning his name because it's a big size jump. I just think the fight would be a snoozer because of both guys' technical boxing ability. Lol.Comment

No he didn't. We broke and ran all of the stories having to do with that. Gary Shaw, Winky's promoter at that time, was on here and gave what the terms were. There was no catch-weight demand BUT there was a demand for Wright to go through a second weigh-in on the day of the fight and he couldn't weigh past a certain weight.
The fight fell apart over the money. Shaw and Arum reached a deal, 60-40 in Floyd's favor but when Shaw flew to Vegas, Arum turned around and said 65-35. Shaw stormed out.Comment
