I have seen floyd fans in various threads act like the Marquez fight makes floyd deserve special praise when debating whether he is P4P better than Pac. Floyd fought Marquez 20 POUNDS above marquez natural weight (featherweight). And of course the complete crap that floyd couldn't even make the catchweight set for the fight between them! Hell people even forget that marquez was in a complete tough struggle against both (an old Casamayor) and Juan Diaz. But in the end JMM heart and will won him both those fights!
However that was the limit of his capabilities! JMM is NOT a WW and would get destroyed by most good WW's! Pac at 147 would KO marquez in probably 5 or 6 rounds. and this isn't because Pac is a ATG but because at WW Jmm is unmobile and out of shape. Funny weren't floyd fans saying that floyd didnt deserve any bashing because it was just a tune up fight? but of course now its a great win for him! Please stop disrespecting JMM by giving Floyd credit for that win!!!!!!!!!!!

you would have to look around in the pathetic pacquiao vs mayweather threads. a bunch of posts discrediting Pac because he struggled against marquez while floyd dominated him. well no **** he would dominate him which such a HUGE weight advantage!
Not trying to hype up that fight more than it really was. But people are ignoring that Pac was a HUGE underdog entering that fight. While everyone knew that Marquez had no shot fighting at WW!
