Sugar Shane Mosley was Gun Shy against Mayweather.

I don't know if Mosley was too scared to be countered or he just could'nt pull the trigger. But something was definitely off about Shane. He was too fidgity and too anxious. For god's sake he couldn't even throw a proper jab. Not that bull**** double flicking jab he was doing. His body shot jabs were more better. But to be honest, I think it was the combination of Mayweather's fast counter speed and his hesitancy to pull the trigger on his guns.

Still a good showing from Mayweather. He had to do what he had to do. He also showed recuperative ability and his willingness to stay in the pocket to exchange. Good Job!

Now let's get this Pacquaio-Mayweather fight going!

Mayweather was hurting him badly that's why.

I believe it's called ring rust. Or getting old. Or Blood Fatigue. Or any other excuses that are easily thrown out there.

I don't think Mayweather was hurting Mosley that bad. It's just that Mosley couldn't fire. For the whole fight I thought Mosley was never in real danger. Good thing Mayweather is not aggressive enough of a fighter or Mosley would've hit the canvas.

Floyd shuts everybody's offense down, its easy, they are too concerned with whats coming back.

Shane Mosley is a shot fighter.

I see it all the time with old, shot boxers, they can't pull the trigger anymore. He reminded me of the current Roy Jones tonight...

            Shane needs to retire now.

Well, it's hard to fire back when the guy you're firing at is hitting you before you could do the same thing.

Because Floyd was stalking him down, using his jab and beating him to the punch every single time. Every time Shane did lead, he would get countered, or hit air.

It wasnt just about hurting him bad but Floyd's whole style had him mixed. 1st of all Floyd caught him off guard by standing toe to toe and coming forward all night. Then Floyd's hand speed was something he's never seen before even though he's fast himself. Then Floyd's defense & posture just has the look that if you slip up then you will get countered super quick. Most of all Floyd just has superior fundmentals & technique. Mentally they arent close.

Also, Senior was right about Shane's jittery style. He does fight like that even in his prime. Not nerves but he throws like 3 or 4 pitty pat jabs and then explodes. A great fighter like Floyd can time that ****. As soon as Shane starts pawing, then Floyd sticks his ass just like Senior said he would so he doesnt even let him get started. He also was getting countered with hooks everytime he did let loose which made him cautious. Pretty much everyone's punch output drops when they fight Floyd and it happened again tonight. Can he do it to Pac also?
