The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. dominated Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There are two issues at hand, the issue of money and the random Olympic-style drug testing. 24 days is ridiculous... Effective blood doping can be executed as late as 1-2 days before the fight. Pacman is starting to sound more and more ridiculous.... The bone marrow will replace minimal blood loss associated with blood drawing in several hours.

Because that leaves a 21-22 day window for Pacquiao to use his drugs. All he has to do is cut off the drugs a couple of days before the fight.

Guys, chill out. Mayweather and Pacquiao are the best in the business. The best of the decade, in fact, and perhaps two of the greatest p4p fighters in history. They are not going to duck each other or come up with ridiculous demands/excuses forever.

Face it, Mayweather's making it look like he's ducking by listing an insane set of demands that HE KNOWS goes against Pac's cultural and religious beliefs. Not to mention his training regimen.

Pacquiao is disagreeing because he deserves to dictate the terms just as much as Mayweather does. His resume is just as accomplished (if not more so), he's been tested more, and he's the #1 p4p fighter in the sport. His accomplishments look better than Floyd's despite the "0" in Floyd's loss column.

Finally, it's all about hype. They are building up to an extravaganza. They have no plans of NOT fighting each other. This will make boxing front-page news again; especially if the first fight is close and action-packed and goes to a rematch (or hopefully a trilogy). My only hope - and this is wishful thinking, but still - is that they do what they used to do in the old days and put the fight on prime time television instead of ****** PPV.

There will be enough commercial endorsements to easily recoup the costs of the promotion (just look at football events... which are FREE to watch).

Mayweather should agree to the 24 day cut off, and then simply demand a blood test after the fight. Manny will get his way, Mayweather will find that Pac's on the level afterwards, and we get the greatest match in 20 years.

Lots of idiots in these boards. Of course, Floyd would dominate that version of Mosley who showed up last night. Mosley had absolutely NO head movement, NO jab, NO lateral movement, NO stamina (gassed out in Round 3), NO punch variety (all he had was the loaded right), NO punch output, NO footwork, NO left hand. Now, tell me, doesn't Pacquiao have everything of the above things that Mosley did not have? Tell me again, that Pacquiao has no chance. Roach said himself that he didnt want no part of Shane because "You're too good" Mosely was not and hasn't been in "peak" in years but, he was still the top Dog after beating Margarito. If you want to go back a few more years to Mosely's peak same thing but, I don't think Floyd would have hurt Shane like he did last night but, it would have been a dominate boxing match by Floyd.
