I think Pac-Cotto would be a more fair comparison to May-Mosley rather than Pac-Clottey.

    If it's Pac/Clottey vs May/Mosley, it's obviously the latter.

Clottey - Paq fight was one of the worst fights i had watched in years. Clottey was an immobile punch bag who was too scared to fight and there to make Manny look cute

Mayweather fight wins simply because Mayweather was pushing Mosley back and pressing the action. Surprised me a bit. I was expecting Shane to be punching A LOT more, but Mayweather adjusted to him well after the 2nd round.

Mayweather-Mosley was a versatile masterclass against the best welterweight, who wasn't cherrypicked to be a stylistic mismatch. People wanted this fight, nobody truly wanted Pac-Clottey. There was also more excitement, since Floyd got buzzed in round 2 and genuinely lit Mosley up after that.

Paquiao-Clottey was the same thing over and over for 12 rounds. Pac goes in and out, flurries, rinse/repeat, Clottey punctuates every so often with a crisp, accurate right hand. Fight looks exactly as visualized, and scorecards add up just as expected, by anyone smart beforehand.

Being fair . . . to answer the topic question . . . what do you think?
