Manny has the stamina to pressure him with volume punching except that as soon as he starts a combination Floyd will counter him quickly and won't give them time to react. Same thing with the jab. Floyd's jab is too fast and will surely disrupt pacquiao's rhythm. Once you take that away, there's not much more pacquiao will be able to do to force mayweather into a toe to toe fight except maybe cornering him but we all saw how easily Floyd can get away from the ropes. I think it will be the same story except that instead of being a righty, it'll be a southpaw.
Thank You for this Post. Green K. Finally somebody with a good analysis instead of the usual dont be a haater BS from *****s!!!

Shane did not have it tonight. Oh yea, Mayweather's style and defense is dependant on the fact that he's faster than the other guy.

Being an awkward southpaw is a big deal against Mayweather.

Where was Floyds explosive movement and fast footwork? He didnt move at all. The same thing happend in the JMM's fight. Dude is more flatfooted than ever. If he thinks he is beating Pac, he is in for a rude awakening.

Now, WTF? Mosley only landed 2 punches and hurt him badly. If Pac lands like that on Floyd, Floyd is dead ****ing meat. How come he gets hit flush only twice almost gets KTFO?

Anyways in overall it was a good performance. But even I, that I picked him to beat Pac, are more convice that Pac might KHTFO!!

Did you just say "ONLY" two punches my dude?

Did you see those 2 punches?

              Props for giving props.

Mayweather doesn't even need to be moving all over to beat Manny. He's adapting to the slow but sure toll the passage of time is taking on his natural gifts. This guy knows how to economize and stagger his movement and expenditure in the ring, over the 12 rounds he always trains for, to fit whatever the task is. Pacquiao can do a lot of buzzsawing, and if it doesn't get him hurting Floyd, he's gonna look gassed in a way you could've never imagined seeing him.

Shane's a ****er, he can rock most welterweights with single shots. Pac's a dynamic puncher, too, but Floyd will make it so he can't hit him with his best. He's learned from previous southpaw tussles, gloves up and radar on from the start in this one, full respect. Forget what you heard about 'easy work', he just makes it look that way, Deborah didn't raise any fool.

This guy is a bag of tricks. Just watch . . . if this fight happens.

What did expect him to do? He got hit with 3 to 4 really good power shots. One which was on the side of the head and messed with his balance. Shane is much bigger and stronger than Pacquiao so it's not just that easy to believe Pac can hurt Floyd. Even if he did Floyd would adapt and take away whatver he landed on him.

People aren't seeing that Mayweather is now a filled out and strong welter. Pacquiao is simply too small. Floyd's countering will neutralize Pac's speed.

                  Nah he's not flat fotted.

I analysed him and Mosely was, but Floyd back foot is never down and his left is sometimes, buyt mainly because he sat on his punches in the pocket. His game was not to move

Floyd's legs are one of the ebst in the bizz

                    this^^^^^

i don't understand the idiots on this board....if mayweather moves, he's called a runner. the minute he stands ground, and presses a fight, he's criticized for not having movement and footwork.

Mayweather just got caught. He didn't get Mosleys timing down until after that round. Mayweather has been invincible for all these years and now suddenly he gets hurt and everyone says he's going to get KTFO.
