Floyd gave me the fight I needed to see from him.

Hands down the best performance of Floyd Mayweather.

if any of you around here have been on the scene long enough to know me you know I dont like Floyd's antics outside of the ring...i have always respected him inside even though at times it was hard.

but this fight tonight was just that a FIGHT

Floyd came through adversity after getting rocked twice.

I have always been an advocate of the fact that a fighter shows his greatness through adversity

    Floyd did just that.

Props to you Floyd and Crew

    a great victory indeed

BTW i still have love for Shane but i gotta give credit where credit is due

Good fight from Floyd and I give him credit.

I'd say it was a good win, but not a GREAT win because of the early rounds.

You mean that one round? The 2nd?

But Floyd's gotta 'come back from adveristy' to be GREAT, right? That's what I heard?

It wasn't really much adversity. Being down 5-6 rounds and then coming back to win is adversity.

Getting hit by a big shot and then spoiling to recover is not that much adversity. People like to blow this out of proportion.

the early rounds are what made this performance great.

Mayweather who is supposedly a non tested ***** took two HUGE shots and didnt go down...only to come back and dominate the rest of the fight.

Floyd earned his points in my book tonight, Shane didn't but I won't hold that against Floyd's incredible performance, he got shook up and recovered then went on to own every inch of the fight coming forward with aggression. don't hate this man b/c they can't find a soul who can beat him, Floyd earned his ****-talking tonight

                exactly

i wont even lie...i have been some what of a Floyd hater in the past. But it is mostly due to all the outside the ring shenanigans.

Floyd was actually walking down Shane and laying wood and throwing an incredibly amount of punches compared to past performances....Oh and he landed what over 50% every round?

i was really left in aww after this performance

this fight should leave no doubt to Floyd's legacy....a Pacquiao victory would seal it

Not really making much sense, you guys. Floyd made a tight spot look relatively easy to get out of.

And anyway, the point remains. You guys have gotta make up your minds if adversity of any kind is a good or bad thing. Mayweather lost 1 round out of 12 -- coming back from being rocked and damn near dropped (it was Floyd's PRIDE and HEART that kept him up) -- and that's what prevents it being a great win?

I mean . . . just . . . unreal. You're all clinging to different partylines, but all for the same reasons.

Got any more excuses tonight, guys? Floyd owned you all.

Does it hurt? Tell me, does it hurt?

I thought it was his best perfomance since beating a 33-0 Diego Corrales at 130. he beat a hall of famer 10-2 or 11-1, depending how u scored it. Cynics say Mosley is 38 but a 33 year old PBF is no spring chicken either.
