im a pac fan and even prior to this fight i have mayweather beating him pretty easily. mayweather's style doesnt suit well for pac. floyd is a counter puncher, naturally bigger in size, has better ring generalship and overall is just a better boxer. he's the best pure boxer the sport has atm.

This the comment I posted 4/15/2010 regarding Floyd/Mosley fight and it will be the same for Floyd/Pac if happened:

I think he'll be in trouble once floyd decided to fight aggressively later in the rounds, coz floyd knows where to hit you and can do it continuosly. there's nothing wrong about potshoting, its a sign of superiorty against opponent, only good boxer can potshot an opponent effectively coz it requires target, speed and timing and it has a humiliating effects to some opponent coz they sense they're being outbox or outsmart and if they can't adjust to the situation, they loose their composure and focus. Mosley knew about potshoting, but I wonder if he can do something about it.

Dont worry about the punch output, as pac wont have a high punch output getting hit in the face. You guys havent noticed how everytime floyd fights his opponents no matter who they are hardly land??? THATS ****IN' SKILL!
        yea will see man........

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are tailormade for each other. If you aint a hater of 1 of these fighters, then you'll know what I'm talking about.

Mosley was basically looking for a 1 punch KO and brotha ****m even told him to stop it and throw combinations cuz it wont work, but mosley didnt listen. And Mosley actually landed more than 20% of his punches. Now imagine pac doing that, it would be higher, I dunno by alot, but it would be higher since pac throws 5-6 punch combinations.

Mayweather vs Pac will do even greater business but after tonight's viewing little man Pac wont last if he were to man up and fight the GREAT Mayweather.

Mosley was bigger and stronger yet Mayweather schooled and dominated him. Pac will only have his work rate working for him and that falls into a PERFECT game for Mayweather. Pac better man the **** up and take the tests. He has a Major ass whooping ahead of him and team Pac knows it. Which is the main reason Master trainer Freddie Roach said Pac wouldn't be ready for a fighter like Mayweather in March.... I bet there ****ting themselves right now.

Mayweather wants to set the pace and pick his opponent apart, while Pacquiao likes to throw an endless barrage of combinations at his opponent - This fight would be great, but it probably doesn't happen. So...
Clottey vs Mosley just to see who wins? Am I the only one slightly curious? I think Clottey, Shane's stamina isn't up to par for 12 Rounds unless that was the rust.

                  Mosley is not Pacman...

Jr. do what he does best and Sugar doesn't have the the same stamina to keep up with Jr. Sugar is too old and past his prime. Sugar didn't do too well against Cotto and Jr. is a lot faster than Cotto. Jr domination of Mosley after the 5th round is not really surprising.
One blown up JMM and a over the hill Sugar=24 rounds not too impressive. Just hope that Pac loses the election otherwise lower weight class are the next big thing.

you are wrong my friend...600,000 buys from puerto rico is not true...it was 110,000 --> see link @ http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=4674275 ..read the 4th paragraph...so you are off by about alf a million....and just as you give false information, your predctiion of an easy fight for mayweather against pac is way off as well...mosley showed his age tonite...pac is much more energetic and hungrier and got more of a warrior mentallity than mosley...no way mayweather beat pac the way he did against mosley...if you are going by the mayweather / mosley fight...then i will go one further...and say it this way --> cotto beat mosley and pac destroyed the cotto that beat mosley....we can go a step further --> pac killed hatton in 2, mayweather needed 11 rounds --> lets go one further --> pac made delahoya quit after 8 rounds, mayweather needed 12 rounds and a split decision against delahoya

ok, now lets analyze mayweathers last two opponants (mosley and marquez)...both of which are close to 40 yrs old...now lets analyze both of pacs last two opponants (cotto and clottey) who were in their prime basically and two top 5 welterweights

which is more impressive? that mayweather fought a marquez that had to come up two weight classes at his age and a mosley who, other than the margarito fight, wasnt impressive in his last few fights...
                    or
pacquiaos last two top 5 welterweights in their primes and pac basically schooled and destroyed both fighters?

i rest my case...btw, the mayweather/mosley fight was much more boring than the pacquiao/clottey fight IMO

btw, i dont think pac vs mayweather will happen in the welerweight...regardless if pac becomes acongressman or not...if both guys were to fight, i think it will happen in the jr middleweight division...because now that mosley is out of the picture for pac, and it looks slim that pac / mayweather will happen anytime soon, and that i dont see any real challenge from any of the remianing welterweights...i see pac's next fight will be against a jr middleweight, maybe a rematch with cotto for cottos belt if cotto can beat foreman for his belt...and if mayweather will actually fight martinez for martinez's belt...then that will setup the winner of martinez / mayweather vs the winner of pacquiao / cotto / foreman

if pac decides to move up to jr middle weight and fight the winner of foreman/cotto and wins...then his last fight will be against the winner of martinez/mayweather...that is if mayweather is really looking to fight martinez
