Its really an objective question, many people who spew names out, have not even sat an watched an entire fight of that fighter, you can tell by the way the talk. Id be hardpressed to believe only a couple on this board have sat through an entire SRR fight, but they will go to boxrec and make their mind up from there.

There's a good argument for Floyd cracking top 30 with a win tonight, though it very much depends on the nature of the win.

Your statement is a bit contradictory here, considering what you stated in another thread that tonight's fight is kind of a scam.

But, now you're saying that if Phony Boy defeats Shane in impressive fashion tonight ,you consider him legitimately crackin' the Top 30 on the ATG list.

Mayweather does need the Pacquiao win to be included in discussions such as this. Mosley will be another very good win, but hardly career-defining. Beating Mosley now is like beating Robinson late in his career, it's not quite like beating him at his best.

I think it's a good win for Floyd.

Based on the fact that Shane is insanely overrated as a #3 p4p fighter in the world, yet hasn't fought in almost a year and a half and is heading for 39, it's a scam.

I never said I'd have him cracking top 30, I said an argument could be made.

FTR, I have him around 40 and he'd have to knock Shane out or win almost every round for that to change.
