    No.

Mayweather doesn't fight for legacy, he said it himself.

I think Roy Jones is up there as well. Floyds technique is just perfect. I think hes so good defensively that people miss how accurate he is.

And that's why technique means jack **** when calling someone an ATG.

In the end, they get measured by the competition they have fought and beat.

Floyd's current career is overshadowed by Pacquiao, until they fight, how can he measure up to the classic all-time greats?

His defense is actually underrated... He was not a defensive specialist or had great defense by any means. But, he had very good fundamentals and was solid at rolling with punches.

A lot of Robinson's power came from perfect technique. He found his opponents flush on the chin with punches almost every time. Accuracy was a big part of it.

Mayweather throws impressive lead right hands, hooks in combinations to the body and head, especially early on in his career, but I don't think he quite got full leverage behind his punches like Robinson, perhaps because he shortened up his punches more (although Robinson could too) and was more defensively aware.

The opponent isn't much but it's a good display of Robinson's talents nonetheless:

One of Mayweather's most aggressive efforts:

There's a good argument for Floyd cracking top 30 with a win tonight, though it very much depends on the nature of the win.
