Golden Boy Promotions is starting to finalize the HBO pay-per-view undercard to the Juan Manuel Marquez- Juan Diaz rematch, scheduled for July 31 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Earlier today, BoxingScene.com's Ernest Gabion reported the addition of Joan Guzman vs. Joel Casamayor, who battle in a junior welterweight contest. It's shaping up to be a better card than Mayweather-Mosley (outside of the main event of course.)Comment

That is a pretty good card especially if Mora fights someone decent and he should because 1 good win can get him in the mix at 160. Although Casamayor and Guzman is kind of meh both are pretty solid fighters and teh main even was a rematch of the fight of the year I don't really think that can miss.Comment

OK, Mora actually had an entertaining fight the last time out, but usually he's pretty boring. So here's an undercard that features Sergio Mora (usually boring) coupled with Casamayor vs Guzman - a fight where you have two guys with boring styles facing each other. I like that Schaefer's putting actual names on the undercard instead of the scrubs that were on the Mayweather-Mosley undercard, but it's hard to think of ways to make this possibly more boring, short of having Mora face Corey Spinks.Comment
