Why are so many Mayweather fans picking him to destroy Mosley? Yes it can happened but its the feeling of being setup for the big fail. There have been alot of upsets in sports lately. In my life personally it seems like Im really hot or Im really cold. Im hardly ever in the middle and right now Im going through a real bad cold streak. Will that continue tonight or will tonight be the start of a hot streak? Either way, the cold streak doesnt have me feeling good going in.
Speaking of cold, whats up with the rumors of Floyd having a cold or being sick. If he loses then its no excuses but that wont stop my superstitions from getting at me. Too many people are jumping on the Floyd wagon for this. Yes some are fake from the haterz who just try to say Floyd will easily win so if he does then they can say they knew it and if he doesnt then it gives them more ammo to rip him. Still, too many genuine one's are buying into it also. Then you have people still thinking Shane is the same guy but I think he's alot better with ****m, even if the Margarito fight did make him look better than he really is.
On top of that I still stand by what I said about Floyd being a real small cat and now everyone is seeing that after the weigh-in. Alot of people are saying he came down from the JMM fight so he can add more speed. No he didnt. He's just small. JMM just made him look bigger. I could see Mosley overpowering him. Then you have my Caps have the best Hockey season in the last 15 years but still end up losing in the 1st round to the worst team in the playoffs. Its too crazy.
Most of all you have the Floyd-Pac thing. If it seems too good to be true then most of the time it really is. How many times have we seen in all of sports where 2 guys or 2 teams are supposed to meet, something happeneds, and then they dont meet. Floyd-Pac couldve or shouldve happened, Floyd went with Mosley, then gets upset. We never get the mega fight. Sure it could happened later but it loses a ton of luster. On the flip side, if he wins then it makes everything 10x bigger. Again though, that still wont stop my superstions from getting at me.
I still say if all things were equal, as a Floyd fan I think I would go with Pac before Mosley and thats genuine, no hate. You cant take anything away from Pac who is a monster and a true beast. He's got the age over Shane, he's in his prime, he's getting better, and he's a Southpaw which would give Floyd major problems. Still, I fear the size of Shane over all of that. Its not just the size but thats a big part of it. I still think Floyd is better off a 140. Can he make it anymore? Thats up for debate but if he cant then why is his ass still skinny? I wish he would come in looking like he's 160 on fight night but I bet he wont be anywhere close again. I also think its not the best ideal to go from Hatton, to a 2yr retirment, to JMM, and straight to Mosley. The size & strength differnce between Shane and what he's done lately could be a shock to his system. From where he was, to Pac, then to Shane is more natural to me even if you think Pac is the harder fight.
All in all it should be a great fight and I wouldnt be shocked at all if Floyd is on top of his game, looks better than he has in years, looks like the lower weight class Floyd, puts combos together, lets his hands go, sits down on his punches, and stops Shane, or easily outclasses him. However, I also wouldnt be shocked if Floyd has hell with a guy who is bigger, stronger, but also has the speed to stay on top of him and make him work. Only time will tell but "it wont stop my superstitions from getting in the way
