$59.99 on Comcast, but yeah it's too much. UFC PPV goes for $44.99, I think that's reasonable.

man I know people think we are out of recession, but $55 dollars is way to much, I think they are gonna get a reality check. People are definately teaming up in households for this one. 8 or 9 of us use to be able to throw in 5 dollars but now it's on another level, we looking for sportbars or casinos lol

Hasn't Schaefer been on record of saying that he wants to put Boxing back on mainstream television? Good way of showing it, I am sure HBO PPV's used to be like $50. I get them cheap here in the UK, PPV's are usually £15, but its on Sky Sports so for most people it works out cheaper, but I have had to subscribe to the channels so its costing me £20, it would have been easier on PPV... to be fair though, my mum said she'll pay for this one for me, I usually pay myself but I guess its my lucky day aha.

How the heck do you have Comcast and still have fights in HD? Is that just a state thing? I'm in Chicago and every time there's a fight on HBO PPV, they only have it in SD.

They say that we are out of the recession, but I don't think we are... nothing has seemed to have picked up massively since they said we are. I think we are gradually coming out of it and if we are itl take a while for things to pick up properly, so it isn't really an excuse for HBO to charge so much.

Truth is, even though I don't particularly care for PPV #'s anymore cause its been beaten to death, this will probably do more harm to the amount of buys than good.

I dunno, maybe that's the case. I'm outside of Boston and never had the situation you have.
