Empanadas I guess would be like Hispanic beef patties. Mine will be chicken and potatoes, beef and potatoes, beef and cheese (mozarella cheese) and Colombians also have a guava with cheese empanada. Just a variety of empanads to munch on. The patties are made from corn.
