I don't know what is with everyone counting Shane out? Yeah, Mosley winning isn't something you want to bet money on, but he's got more than a puncher's chance. He's just as fast, he's stronger, and he's bigger. Floyd has a high ring IQ, but Mosley is a smart fighter too.

People keep saying Mosley has no defense, but this is not entirely true. Shane often relies of his reflexes and keeps his right hand up to block left hooks. I'm not saying he has a good defense, but I am saying it isn't like how some of these guys make it out. And Mayorga never dominated Mosley, I think the fact he was so awkward and weighed the same as a light heavy weight made Mosley uncomfortable and extra cautious. Also, Cotto was a good boxer, he has a good solid jab and boxing fundamentals.

And Shane is a better fighter than Gatti period.

What does age have to do with skill? Age doesn't change the fact that Mosley is arguably as fast, is physically bigger and stronger, hits harder, has longer arms and has much more experience. He also has a granite chin. So what part of that makes everyone so positive that he'll get "Gatti'd"?
