at the end of the day a win is a win. Who would you rather be. Floyd who is an undefeated ATG that some may call boring or an exciting guy like Burton with 25 losses? Sure it would be nice if he fought like he did at the lower weights but these arent the lower weights. He's moved up alot and hasnt added much weight. To me, stopping or dominating Shane is an serious accomplishment. That **** aint mandatory by any means. Shane is a HOF who just knocked out the guy who everyone said is the most feared in boxing, KO a huge Vargas, dominated a very good Collazo, KO a super strong Mayorga, and went head up in a very close fight with a prime Cotto who was a beast. I still think he wouldve won if he had ****m back then.
Spear me that hating ass **** about his age. In all of pro sports people are fighting at a high level for much longer now. Its not like it was 20 years ago or even 10 years ago. Even in regular life people are looking much younger now than there age. A ton of 40yo's look like there in there late 20's. Dont forget that Floyd is 33 himself and has been very inactive. Are you trying to tell me that when Floyd is 38 he is automatically just going to look like complete garbage? That he wont have no skills left at all? That any good fighter should dominate him? That every 33yo should dominate him and stop him? Hell NO. Stop hating and just appreciate the fight no matter what happeneds. At the end of the day a win is a win and I dont care if he pot shots both Mosley & Pac.
If he beats them that way then you cant take anything from them. If fighters are so great then how come they cant beat a guy who is just pot shotting? Thats there fault.
