Let me just say that Laurence Cole is the most incompetent referee in the business. I truly question whether or not this guy is legally ******ed. He's had so many refereeing blunders & it just shows you how corrupt boxing is that this mental case continues to get high profile boxing gigs because of his commissioner dad...

he totally made the right call on calling of the fight vs hasegawa vs montiel. Hasegawa was out on the ropes & montiel was teeing off. Laurence Cole just maybe got off the short yellow bus. The right call was made.

Yes, it was the right call.

But Cole is still a crooked and/or incompetent referee.

his dad is ****ie cole the boxing commissioner head in texas & his family sells promoters fight insurance. they are in the loop. agree tho, laurence cole is absolutely one of the worst referees i have ever seen.

Of course it was. He was in a vulnerable state. You have to at least put your hands up. It looked like he was caught on the rope.
